Joshua Vilches is a lifelong aviation enthusiast to the core. His passion began 22 years ago when he started building and flying radio controlled airplanes. This childhood hobby ultimately influenced his future career. He graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology with a BSc in Aircraft Maintenance Technology with emphasis in Avionics Technology, holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant maintenance license and Private Pilot's license. Following college he built a successful, 17-year-long career maintaining some of the most technologically advanced aircraft in existence for both Fortune 500 companies and ultra high-net-worth individuals. In addition to his professional aviation experience, Josh has been flying full-sized aircraft recreationally for 17 years. He is an avid hang-glider enthusiast and is building a full-sized Super Cub replica from scratch. As RPAS technology became more accessible and its commercial uses more evident, Josh seized the opportunity to start CET Aviation.
Gerry Willett has been involved with aviation and technology since his youth. He enlisted in the Navy after high school and attended the Navy's Technical Training facility as an Aviation Electronics Technician. He was then assigned to Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron Two where he worked on airborne intelligence and electronic warfare equipment. During his enlistment he continued his studies in electronics technology at Embry-Riddle University. He also learned to fly while he was in the Navy and continued his training as a civilian, subsequently receiving his FAA Private Pilot's License. After his tenure in the Navy, he employed his experience in electronics and security as a Field Service Engineer designing and servicing Electronic Security and Surveillance systems for many Fortune 500 and Governmental agencies. He holds various certifications in Computer Science Technology, holds an Extra-Class Ham Radio license, the FCC GROL license, a Masters Certificate in Communication Technology and Certificates in Digital and Advanced Digital Photography from Shaw Academy. His hobbies include fine scale modeling, Sci-Fi movies and Meteorology. He also enjoys working as a bicycle mechanic and has a curious affinity for antique Volkswagens. Gerry has been involved in Radio Controlled Aviation for over ten years honing his skills on sailplanes and rotor wing aircraft.
Ryan Henry joins us as our camera gimbal operator and digital content editor. He has a strong passion for film and music. He graduated from Western Connecticut State University in the media arts program and has worked professionally as a videographer, photographer, grip, gaffer, and content editor for production companies within Connecticut and New York. Ryan has also worked for a major cable network and charity organizations in various production roles, never missing out on an opportunity to learn something new. He enjoys playing various string instruments and has been involved with sound engineering. He also enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with students at his alma mater and his hobbies include music, drawing, movies, and writing screenplays. He has and is always willing to travel across the country in order to visually tell an incredible story.
Jessica Klee has been an avid aviation enthusiast all of her life. She has logged over 8,500 hours as an airline pilot in various types of aircraft in the US and Canada. She's even an experienced "Bush Pilot" flying in extreme environments in very remote areas of North America. She was introduced to radio controlled model aviation at a young age and is very excited to adapt her skills and knowledge to the many avenues of aerial data acquisition using remotely piloted aircraft systems. In addition to her aviation experience, Jessica has an eye and an ear for music and video production. She has been involved with the music industry for over 30 years recording, mixing and mastering music and has worked for major news networks in NYC in digital production and video editing. She has a strong passion for photography and videography, playing the guitar and enjoys training and teaching others about aviation.
